The Zrmanja river tour enhanced with the visit of both Maslenica bridges, with a local lunch in Ribnica is your best idea for a daytrip this summer.
The tour starts from Novigrad Dalmatinski which is 30 minutes from Zadar, and near Maslenica, Posedarje and Starigrad Paklenica.
The tour starts at 10 AM, but to be sure everything is all right, we advise you to come 20-30 minutes earlier – 9:30-9:40. This is the location where we’re waiting for you, but if you have trouble finding us, look for a boat named Luna, or for captain Ante (ask the locals if needed). What can you expect from this tour? Making of great memories, beautiful nature, secure sailing and tons of fun.
First, we’ll be going through the beautiful Zrmanja river. Did you know that the canyon cliffs around it are 200 meter high? And we’ll be going right through that canyon. The colors of the river will leave you in awe during the 6 kilometer long route and we’ll be taking a swim in the place where the river becomes the sea – the Zrmanja confluence.
After this, we’ll grab lunch! At Kalada in Ribnica, included in the price, we’ll have lunch. You can choose between Fish, Meat or Pizza and the Salad (and a Welcome drink) is included too! Feel the local vibe and enjoy your meal, because we’ll keep going.
We’ll be sailing below the old and the new Maslenica Bridge, and right after them, in the Velebit Channel, we’ll stop for a magnificent swimming experience. It’s a place that connects the Velebit channel with the Novigrad Sea.
After all these exciting yet relaxing activities, we safely return to Novigrad around 4 PM.
